The Revolution of JDT

Persatuan Bolasepak Negeri Johor (PBNJ) is the governing body of football who responsible for developing and coordinating any football team in Johor that registered with Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). PBNJ was formed in December 29, 1955 that based in Kluang, Johor.

            PBNJ has started their football development program under the vision of HRH Brigadier General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, The Crown Prince of Johor. They started to make the revolution of Johor football and come out with the name of Johor Darul Takzim (JDT). Basically, Tunku Ismail is a person that have a good clear vision about football. He  willing to sacrifice his time and money in order to make sure his mission achieve.

            JDT has their own structure of football. There are 5 teams all together including the youth team. It started with the senior team, JDT, which play in Malaysia Super League (MSL) and the second team, JDTII, which take part in Malaysia Premier League (MPL). The second team which is JDTII, will provided any young and experienced talent to the senior team. Basically JDTII is called as a grooming team for the senior team. If they perform well, they will have a good chance to be in the senior team.




             HRH Brigadier General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, The Crown Prince of Johor, which he as the owner of this club, get the idea of structure from the other European club that has been successfully implemented in Barcelona FC, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Real Madrid and FC Bayern Munich. By implementing this system, JDT has been the most outstanding and influential club in Malaysia and Southeast asia.
