The FIFA President, Jules Rimet
organize an international tournament in 1930. As the winner of gold medals in
the 1924 Paris Olympics and 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, Uruguay has been selected
to be the very first inaugural host for the World Cup. The first football world
cup was held at Montevideo, Uruguay. Uruguay beat Argentina 4-2 to be the first
country which won this most prestigious cup. The World Cup has since become the
world most sporting event during that time.

The latest World Cup was held in Rio
De Janeiro, Brazil on 2014. German defeat Argentina 1-0 to win this title.
Mario Gotze has become the man of the match for that stunning final match.
World Cup have been the most prestigious cup because football is the main
sports that have been played in the world.

This is one of the reason why I choose
to share about the history of football and also why football have become the
